To make our world,
A merrier place.

Diwali together! After eleven long years!

Diwali together!
After eleven long years.
My younger son,
Srinath was not with us,
For 10 years and 9 months,
He was residing overseas.
Eleven Diwalis passed by,
Without him.
This year we are together,
Much happier,
With smiles broader!

Never seen such a long rainy season in Hyderabad.

Never seen such a long rainy season,

In Hyderabad; for several decades.

It started a little later than expected,

That was in June,

And since then it is raining,

And it is October now!

Five months of rain in this region,

Is certainly an extraordinary phenomenon!

This is entirely not due to the seasonal,

South West Monsoon,

It certainly is for various other reasons,

It could be due to North East Monsoon,

And surprisingly due to the many,

Depressions in the Bay of Bengal Ocean.

The Meteorological Departments,

Reasons and forecasts are mostly erroneous,

And do not answer my inquisitiveness.

There is no Ocean nearby,

Nor any large water body close by,

Then how are the rain clouds forming,

I wonder from where these rain clouds,

Mountains of them,

For five months,

Are travelling to Hyderabad,

To present an unforgettable,

Rainy Season,

A good one for some,

And an annoying one for some.
