There
are many days dedicated to girls and women in most regions of the world, and
one of them is the International Day of the Girl Child celebrated today the 11th
of October, and annually. The world needs all these special days and
observances because one half of the world's population is still struggling to
gain equal status.
International
Day of the Girl Child also known as International Girl Child Day, World Girl
Child Day, Day of Girls and International Day of the Girl was declared as an
international observance by the United Nations (UN). Several activities are
carried out on this day, and one such must-do affair is wishing in person or
online to all girls and their parents.
Save, Love and Respect the Girl Child because She Is
the Future of the Family, the Country and the World.
