It is the
20th of June,
And there is no sign of rain,
What has gone wrong with Monsoon,
Which should have arrived by 7th June.
Local weather forecasts,
And climate predictions,
Are no longer exact,
As the earth
is no longer right.
When will we get respite?
From this severe summer heat,
If rains are scarce,
It is the end of our peace.
With drought around us,
Life would be miserable,
Simply unimaginable,
Leading to the end of us.
All we can do now is pray for rain,
And live in anticipation,
That the world will come together,
To restore good climate and
weather.
