Isn’t this a beautiful spectacle?

Isn’t this a beautiful spectacle?
It certainly is for us; local people,
It is the heart of our Twin Cities,
A lake with sparkling ripples,
And a necklace of lights,
All along its banks.
And at the lake’s centre,
On the Rock of Gibraltar,
Stands the gigantic statue,
Of Lord Gautama Buddha,
And on an adjacent hillock,
Is Lord Venkateshwara,
Showering their benevolence,
Around the clock,
On us; born in this province,
The Twin Cities,
Me in Secunderabad,
And my wife in Hyderabad,
Located on either side of the lake,
And united by almighty’s blessings,
To live together in the proximity,
Of this spectacular lake!
