It is good
for their vision,
And later
in life for fashion,
Not just
under the Sun,
But even in
dark accommodation!
Wearing
centuries’ worth of traditions,
Every
day, everywhere and for all occasions,
Keeps
me most comfortable and relaxed,
And
keeps me happy, cheerful and poised…
Day
in, day out, every season!

Why do I dream of
such images and places
In these troubled
times of Novel Corona Virus
Like never before
these dreams keep appearing
Though I know a vacation now is life-threatening.
For such thoughts to
become a reality
I hope I do not have
to wait for eternity
So I visualise a
miracle vaccine
To make me COVID
immune
So I can become
fearless
And give wings to my travel dreams.
Here I do not speak
for me alone
But for the
countless waiting for a vacation
And for the welfare
of millions
Dependant on
tourists…
The travel and
tourism industry
And the hospitality
industry
Which are sinking
Just like my dreams crushing.
Lest
you forget,
Here
is a prompt,
To
remember a birthday,
A
family birthday,
I hope you get it right!
Are all these non-voters?
Irresponsible citizens,
Negligent fools,
Educated idiots,
Senseless morons,
Lethargic adults,
And demolishers of democracy.
You want good leaders,
You want non-stop water,
You want un-interrupted electric power,
You want good roads,
You want good infrastructure,
You want every good facility,
But you don’t vote.
Shame on such people,
They should be ashamed,
Of their attitude,
They are not good citizens,
They are not good sons,
They are not good parents,
I wish they are punished.

Celebrating the festival of democracy
By exercising our franchise enthusiastically
In every Election and today too
In the GHMC elections
Which has caught the attention
Of our entire Nation.
We were the first to vote
At our Polling Station
That shows our enthusiasm
And then had a celebratory…
Sumptuous continental breakfast
At Okra, a popular restaurant.
It is over three hours since we voted
But majority citizens of our City
Seem to
be still sleeping
Or they are merely irresponsible
Because the voting percentage is still at 5%
Hyderabadis please get up and vote, your vote counts.
A s dawn awakens over Necklace Road, And golden rays gently light the way, The bustling city seems to pause, And welcome softly a brand...
