Celebrating the festival of democracy
By exercising our franchise enthusiastically
In every Election and today too
In the GHMC elections
Which has caught the attention
Of our entire Nation.
We were the first to vote
At our Polling Station
That shows our enthusiasm
And then had a celebratory…
Sumptuous continental breakfast
At Okra, a popular restaurant.
It is over three hours since we voted
But majority citizens of our City
Seem to
be still sleeping
Or they are merely irresponsible
Because the voting percentage is still at 5%
Hyderabadis please get up and vote, your vote counts.
