Tradition and love on a plate!

One of my favourite snacks is Kheema Samosa, and it’s a family favourite as well. My grandmother used to make it for my birthdays, so we recreated that tradition yesterday as a surprise evening snack for my grandson celebrating his ninth birthday. And that made him and us happy.

When I say Kheema Samosa, I specifically mean a Samosa full of Mutton Mince, some cashews, and just the right blend of spices, not like the ones you find at some bakeries, like Paradise Cafe, where there’s barely a quarter spoon of minced mutton buried in a filling of vegetables and Soya mince.

Atharv has a passion for cookbooks and was thrilled to receive three new ones as birthday gifts this year! He loves flipping through them every day during lunch and dinner, exploring recipes, pictures and food stories. For him, these books are just as special as other gifts he has received. These cookbook gifts you see in the attached picture should keep him thrilled for quite a long time.
