Yesterday,
8th September was my eldest son’s birthday. We celebrated the occasion with our
family… and there’s nothing quite like a family gathering! The most important thing in the world is
family and love!
The
celebration was over a barbecue dinner party as you can see in the attached
pictures and video. It was amidst our small garden and at the open place in our
house. We had the barbecue - starters outdoors and the main course indoors.
We
love cooking and eating food outdoors, certainly a few times every year and
especially on the occasion of the annual Vanabhojanalu
celebration in the Telugu month of Karthika
Masam. The smell of spices and food as the cooking/barbecue process is in
progress is a lovely sight and experience and it acts as a good appetizer. And
the food tastes infinitely better than the same meal prepared and consumed
indoors.
Last
night’s party went on for close to three hours and everyone enjoyed it.
