We
visited Ramoji Film City after 25 years on a two-day holiday to enjoy the
Christmas celebrations there. We checked into Sitara Luxury Hotel of Ramoji
Film City on 24th December 2022 morning and checked out on 26th December, at noon.
It was a very happy and wonderful vacation. So much to write about our stay,
our happiness and our wonderment but I would not be able to do justice. Instead,
I have decided to present a visual narration of our stay through photos and
videos.
The
titles of the videos are self-explanatory. I hope they will convey to you the grandeur
of Ramoji Film City and our amazement and happiness.
As
you might know, Ramoji Film City is an integrated film studio facility located
in Hyderabad. It is spread over 1,666 acres, it is the largest film studio
complex in the world and as such has been certified by the Guinness World
Records. It was established by Telugu media tycoon Ramoji Rao in 1996.
It
is also a thematic holiday destination and a popular tourism and recreation
centre, containing natural and artificial attractions including an amusement
park. Around 1.5 million tourists visit the place every year.
