Sunshower, you always catch us
unawares
Surprised, we admire you from
indoors
Stunned, we seek shelter when outdoors.
You last only for a little
while
If any, you cause very little inconvenience
But you clean our environs
Leave spick and span everything
With your refreshing downpour
And your companion the Sun
Keeps everything glistening.
The lovely Rainbows that you
create together
Keeps us longing for you
forever
Especially during severe summer
When rain is rare
And summer heat is intolerable
You appear together
To bring us some respite.
You are popular the world over
And unite the countries with superstitions
And mostly the same beliefs
Like ours:
That a Sunshower is a time for
weddings
Between animals…
