This
blog post is about our recent visit to a temple after a long gap, and to share
my thoughts.
We
felt very happy and blessed by visiting the ‘Temple of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy’
at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, a few days back, on Sunday, 27th December 2020.
For
the past one year due to COVID there have been no outstation vacations for us,
not even one, and even visiting local temples has become infrequent. During
lockdown all the temples were closed, so we only prayed from outside the
temples while driving past them.
After
lifting of lockdown we did visit a few temples but with lots of precautions. As
online Sevas commenced due to the pandemic, we satisfied ourselves by
performing few Sevas at Sri Rajarajeshwari Devasthanam and Bheemeshwaralayam,
Vemulawada and Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple, Bhadrachalam.
The
visit to Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple of TTD at Jubilee Hills was a very
happy one for us. As there was not much rush, we had a very pleasing Darshan of
the Lord and we spent considerable time at the temple, happily. It is always a
lovely feeling to be at a Temple.
This
temple is a wonderful one, and on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadashi it is decorated
very grandly with a variety of flowers and fruits, especially the interiors of
the temple and the sanctum sanctorum are decorated much more beautifully. You
may see here for yourself this beautiful temple and the grand colourful exterior
floral decorations:
