Telangana and Andhra Pradesh!

Telangana as a separate State will come into being at midnight today. That is on Monday, 2nd June 2014, it will become the 29th State of our Country and the residual part of the earlier larger Andhra State will continue to be called Andhra Pradesh.

As the clock strikes midnight today, huge celebrations will commence throughout Telangana State as their five decades old hardships will come to an end, and a  new future as desired by them opens up.

In the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, large scale celebrations are planned for the next few days. All important Government buildings will be decoratively illuminated. At midnight today the city will reverberate with the sound and colours of awesome fire-crackers for at least one hour at over 120 main junctions and from every colony. The official State Song "Jaya Jaya He Telangana"  will be played at Tank Bund, Necklace Road and at all main junctions and from several houses. It will be full scale celebrations and enjoyment in Telangana State for the next few days.

At the dawn of this happy and historical moment, I wish all the best, a great and grand future to both the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. May the people of both regions live in happiness, peace and prosperity forever.
