New Year’s Eve Party Photos – Part III

The above images are of ‘New Year’s Eve Party’ of 31st December 1998, at our house ‘Srilekha’. The photos are of us in Fancy dresses.
I and Lalitha are posing as Sikhs, a Sardarji couple. My brother, Dr. Lakshminarsu is dressed as a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) of the Indian Railways, with large ‘sticking out teeth’. My sister, Hemalatha is in Guajarati attire. Uma Rani is in Bengali attire. Sudhir is dressed as a long haired native of Himachal Pradesh. Usha Rani is a Vegetable vendor. Sridhar and Bablu are Civil-construction workmen. Srikanth is an American Sheriff. Srinath is dressed as a Gypsy girl. Alekhya is a School teacher and Ashwin is dressed as a Cowboy.
Very interesting Fancy costumes, representing various Indian and international subjects, don’t you think so?
