Lalitha’s Birthday Celebration.

Yesterday, 4th December was my wife’s birthday. I surprised her with two gifts early in the morning. A little later after breakfast we went to Sri Anjaneyaswamy Temple located close to our house. On all important and auspicious occasions we normally visit this Temple complex to pray and seek blessings. While Sri Anjaneyaswamy Temple is an ancient one other Temples within the same premises; that of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Santoshi Mata, Sri SitaRamachandraSwamy, Sri VenkateshawaraSwamy and Navagrahalu are few decades old. Fortunately I did not have any pressing works today so I was at home the whole day.
As part of her birthday celebration I kept her away from her daily chores in the kitchen. In the afternoon we went to a restaurant with a grand ambience called Bagara where we had a typical Indian buffet lunch with Bommidala pulusu (Bombay duck curry). In the evening she cut a Lychee cake. We then had an authentic Chinese dinner for a very small gathering of the family. The Chinese spread was obtained from the most famous Chinese restaurant in Secunderabad, Nanking. Today we very much missed our youngest son Srinath who is in U.K. and our granddaughter Ch. Sudhiksha who has gone to Karimnagar. My sons Srikanth and Srinath who used to gift their mother with lovely well-phrased Greeting cards and sometimes handmade ones during their childhood are now grownup and earning so they have gifted Cash asking her to buy anything of her choice.
The above photographs are of the day long partying.
