Enjoying Nature and Wilderness!

The mountains,

The valleys,

The caves,

Lovely blue sky for cover,

Colourful earth under,

Shrubs and trees everywhere,

Here and there a waterfall,

And a lovely pond,

And vast land all around!

ALL THIS BEAUTY JUST FOR US ALONE!

Alone here, I would be frightened,

And of course depressed,

But with my family by my side,

It is a heavenly feeling!

 These Motorcycles are gorgeous!
Anyone would love to own them!
But their prices are outrageous,
As of now I may gaze, plan and dream!
Or should I simply call them sour grapes!
Because these powerful monsters,
In Indian hands and highways,
Have caused many disasters.

Children love “Playing Shop”!

They pickup,

Whatever they can reach,

Or demand,

What their imagination desires,

To play Shop!

This pastime,

Was popular in the past,

With siblings and friends around,

Not many TV Channels,

And no 24-Hour cartoon shows.

Here you can see,

Srikanth and Srinath,

Playing shop with friends,

Sushma and Suchitra,

An Audio Cassettes Shop!

And A Cold Drinks Shop!

This is the famous Blue Diamond!

Of which we are the Drivers,

And the Guards,

And also the Passengers,

Wish this Train is Ours!

Who doesn’t like a Horse?

A ride on a Horse?

Or in a Horse-drawn Cart!

But what does a Horse want?

A not so heavy rider,

And a kind and lean driver!

Like our Srikanth!

And everyone’s care and warmth.

Oh My God!

You are so bold,

And adventurous!

But it is so dangerous?

Is it a ride for fun?

Or a rescue mission?

You are in high spirits!

But I am in jitters.

Don’t ever repeat it,

Because I don’t like it.

On a breezy morning,

Amidst plants and flowers,

As the Sun was rising,

The feeling was joyous!

Happily as we strolled,

And this dreamlike imprint,

At our house stands out,

Because in it,

Elation, scene and breeze are caught!

Here is something lovely,

That can’t be bought instantly,

A shade tree for our family!

With such a large canopy!

It is ‘Madhavi Lata Creeper’,

Shining in finest green colour,

With bunches of white flowers!

Which emanate fragrance 24-hours!

A pleasant rainy evening,

Calls for special snacking!

Indian, Continental or Chinese,

Anything would please!

The spicier and hotter,

Are always preferred,

What better than,

The Mirchi Bajji etc…South Indian!

GOOD MORNING!

Hyderabad weather,

And the peace on roads,

During this season’s dawns,

Offers great pleasure!

HAVE A NICE DAY!

Can you guess this place?

A place you wouldn’t forget,

If you have once visited it,

Where and what is this place?

The answer is easy for some,

And difficult for many,

Hope you are from those some,
And this would recall pleasant memories many!

Shame on your authority,

That stinks of timidity.

None of you have guts,

To face the truth and us!

Our obvious deprivation,

Leads to our desperation,

And all means of struggle,

That will go on until your downfall.

We are defeating you,

In every possible way,

Yet shameless you continue,

To survive in a miserable way.

Finally, the voice of the people!

History tells us is the voice of God!

Let rival politicians behave amicably,

May everything around us be orderly,

All for the development of our country,

And let there be peace and prosperity.

May senseless critics of our Government,

Neighbourhood villains and every terrorist,

Be; by every means silenced,

If not, mercilessly punished.

Firstly and immediately punish corrupt politicians,

And all unlawful bigwigs and criminal actors,

And T State Cash-for-Vote OBVIOUS CRIMINALS,

Hiding behind lies, flimsy systems and reasons.

Organ Donation Day.

Today is Organ Donation Day. Organ Donation Day is celebrated in India on 13th August every year by the people, government organizations and other related professions to make the entire Nation understand the value of organ donation and to motivate individuals to donate their organs after death in order to save some sickly people in need of them and thus gift life to these persons and help their families and bring happiness to all of them. The organ donor can be anyone whose organs can be transplanted to a number of patients who urgently require them. Or the donor’s organs may be saved properly to be transplanted later to a patient wherever and whenever he or she may require. This is how even after death one can serve society by gifting good health to the sickly and happiness to their families and friends.

Left-Handers’ Day!

Today, 13th August is Left-Handers’ Day. About 13 percent of the world population is left-handed and today is a day meant for them to celebrate the advantages of their creative right brain/hemisphere and project the difficulties they face in a world dominated by right handed persons. Left-handed persons face challenges in doing ordinary things because so many tools and facilities are created for the right-handed. It is said that around 2500 left-handed people are killed every year using things made for right-handed people. So certainly Lefties need consideration.

In India it is considered bad manners to use left hand for eating, handing over things and while offering prayers, so people scorn them. And in many families young children born with left-hand tendencies are forced very severely to use only right hand. This is considered wrong. Being right-handed or left-handed is a function of the brain and genetic. The way the brain works is incredibly complex. The brain is cross-wired so that the left hemisphere controls the right handed side of the body and the right hemisphere controls the left handed side of the body.  So the hand dominance is connected with brain dominance on the opposite side.

The dominant left hemisphere (Right hand control) controls Speech, Language, Writing, Logic, Mathematics, Science…this is the Linear Thinking Mode.

The dominant right hemisphere (Left hand control) controls Music, Art, Creativity, Perception, Emotions, Genius…this is Holistic Thinking Mode. So the left-handers are more likely than right-handers to be creative and visual thinkers and thereby shine in certain jobs and professions, music and arts. So on this day let us congratulate them and wish them A Very Happy International Left-Handers’ Day!

And heavy pollution is adding to the heat chaos,

I choose to postpone jobs to late evenings,

Or the next day early mornings.

I stay at home during peak heat wave timings,

Relaxing and keeping cool with cool cravings!

Of holy dips and bathing,

In the sacred Godavari River,

At a town very popular,

For the Temple of Sri Rama.

Can you guess the Place?

And at least one friend’s Name!

Some exotic snacks,

Are so easy to prepare!

In the comfort of our homes!

These delicious Nepali ‘Momos’!

And the Chinese ‘Dim Sums’!

Are quick and healthy snacks!

With little or no spices and oil,

They taste wonderful!

Easy to make by a grandma!

For her grandchild Sudhiksha!

Hungry?

Eat healthy!

Whatever?

Wherever?

Unhesitatingly!

For my dearest grandnephew,

Sweetmeats are not for eating,

They are for counting!

And that is very disappointing.

Is Political Padayatra! Panacea to Problems of the People!

If Padayatras,

Announcing freebies,

And subsidies,

And waiver of loans,

Is a sure Mantra!

To win peoples’ hearts,

And come to power!

And sort out peoples’ problems,

May these Padayatra experts –

The great Indian politicians,

Padayatra intellectuals,

Padayatra humanitarians,

And power mongers,

Embark on extensive Padayatras,

In Pakistan,

China,

And Sri Lanka,

Make excellent speeches,

Announce all possible sops,

And rout our misunderstandings,

And establish excellent relations.
