In such family gatherings, joy is embraced,
Yet some are missing, far away,
Beyond the seas, in distant places,
But one is here, though out of sight,
Busy crafting memories bright.
With hands engaged and heart so true,
He works to spread the laughter's hue,
Applauding silently, he stands,
A hidden figure in our plans.
His deepest wish, his heart's delight,
To see each face with joy alight,
For as long as he can share a smile,
He tries to bring cheer, mile by mile.
