Today is for some a tragedy
But great news for democracy
A father and son’s hunger for
power
To rule a province forever
Has come to a dramatic downfall
May all dynastic rulers have such
a fall.

A mini world
Has unfolded
In front of me
From this balcony.
I enjoy this view
A wholesome sight
With a nice cool waft
And no noise whatsoever.
I can view
The infinite sky above
Trees around
And the vast land.
I see the river Godavari
A holy river
With many temples
Along the banks.
I see spiritual people
Bathing in the river
Visiting the temples by the river
And the roadside vendors.
I see small and large houses
Optimistically of nice families
Living happily and peacefully
This is what I wish for them sincerely.

Dear good old Banyan tree
My earnest Pranams!
For many like me, Hindus
You possess supernatural powers
Your bark is Lord Vishnu,
Your roots are Lord Brahma,
Your branches are Lord Shiva
And your leaves are the resting
place
Of Lord Krishna.
I will stand here
Under your shade
Praying
For a long time
Every day
Until you pity me
And bless me
By granting my wish
To be as strong as you
In all weathers
And have a tress
Long and dense
Like your aerial roots.
I loved
cycling in the past
Ever since I learned it
At the age of five
At Kothagudem town
And for nearly two decades thereon.
I rode it
mostly in Secunderabad
In all weather on roads good and bad
Then I moved on to a scooter
And on to a motorcycle later
And afterwards on to a car.
I cherish
memories
Of very happy times and rides
On scooters and motorbikes
With my better half on the pillion
Holding me for safety and relaxation.
When I saw
this picture
I began to regret and wonder
Why I have never
Thought of taking my better half on rides
On a bicycle, my most loved vehicle of decades!
A video for your amusement:
This is to exhibit
That any subject
That arouses interest
And the desire for insight
Would not prevent
A books-lover
And an avid reader
From seeking books
That would enlighten.
Books not just in one language
But in more than one
For more knowledge
And perfection.
The books you see here
In all probability appear
To be for a wedding priest
With mantras and slokas in
Sanskrit
But there in them is the explanation
Of wedding rituals and
significance
Which are very essential
But go unexplained
To the groom and bride
Who are happily made
To play an ignorant role
Which they enact happily
And fortunately
Live happily ever after
So in conclusion love matters
More than such wedding
literature?
