This is not a ‘Smile Mode Photograph’.

This is not a ‘Smile Mode Photograph’,
I am sure you can certainly,
Deduce that; and easily!
You can see here natural smiles,
Suppressed smiles,
Laughter,
And suppressed laughter,
And beyond all this,
Peace and happiness,
Born out of love,
Affection and closeness.
I cherish such photographs!
Of whosoever it is,
From wherever it is,
World over,
Because smiles…
Beget smiles!
It is an expression,
Of happiness,
That begets happiness,
A universal language,
That I understand,
Admire and love.

My Latest Crochet Creations!

As winter is approaching,
I get busy knitting,
Sweaters, Ponchos,
And Caps,
With lots of affection,
To gift Children,
And babies,
In families,
Known to me.
This makes me,
Very happy,
And as for me,
Thanks to the mighty Sun,
The Sunlight,
That creeps into our house,
Through doors and windows,
And gleams over our garden,
Keeps me warm and happy,
And to enrich my happiness,
The Sun blesses,
The flowers in our garden,
To blossom gorgeously,
In bright and different colours!
A glimpse of this you can see,
In the attached pictures!

My grandnephew, Akhil would be comfortable in this!...

Experiencing the Tuk Tuk!
An activity accomplished,
From our list of Do’s,
In the land of Tuk Tuk!
For our own pleasure,
And through this video,
To entertain our grandchild,
Back home,
As he loves his toy of a Tuk Tuk,
Pushing it around saying Tuk Tuk-Tuk Tuk!

During our rides,
The weather was fine,
Enjoyed the cool and strong winds,
Embracing us from all sides,
They are so spacious,
Fit for a King and Queen,
Dressed in heavy robes,
With some paraphernalia,
And ample legroom,
Fit for the long-legged,
Tallest boy in town!
My grandnephew, Akhil!

A Statistical and Pictorial Summary of My 1400 Blog Posts!

I am happy to announce that I have published my Blog Post No. 1400! On 14th November 2019,  to my Blog – Raghu’s column! You can read it by clicking on the following link: My "Blog Post No. 1400! – May this bonding last forever! God Bless this love!"
After I posted my first article to this blog site on 20th April 2009, I sent an email to my family, friends and relatives as follows: “Hi! Everyone, I have just started blogging under the title: ‘Raghu’s column!’ I strongly wish and hope I would find time to contribute regularly to this column on wide-ranging topics: My views, memoirs, parties, forthcoming events, local issues/news, family announcements and many more topics. Please visit http://srisrilara.blogspot.in/ from time to time, please read my articles and post your comment for me and other’s to benefit”.
At the time when I began blogging, I never thought I would reach a figure of 1400 blog posts. As events came up and ideas, thoughts and memories sprang to my mind I kept writing as and when possible and in these 10 years, 6 months and 25 days (3860 days), I have posted 1400 articles with well over 14,000 photographs. To see some of these photographs you may click on the following link and scroll down for more:
My nephew with his family who are abroad and similarly a number of my friends, relatives and ex-colleagues who are all far away are very happy to read my posts on current events of Hyderabad and those concerning me and our family. And the blog is serving as a ready reckoner for me, our family and friends over various subjects related to us and I presume it is helping a large number of other visitors reaching my blog in search of information.
I wish to continue blogging as long as possible, as I am thoroughly enjoying this hobby.
With a modest number of registered followers but a very large number of unregistered regular followers and hundreds of random visitors to my blog there have been 1,733,400 pageviews so far, from every nook and corner of the world, as you can see in the blogger statistics I have provided below. Actual pageviews are much more than double of 1,733,400…that means well over 4 million pageviews! because many computers these days have complex firewall protection which does not allow Blogger to register their pageviews.
Here are pictorial glimpses of my blog statistics and my 1400-blog posts:
Here is my Blog Archive of 1400 posts, since April 2009. You will find this list as soon as you reach my blog – Raghu’s column:  This list will be towards the right of the opening page. Against each year in the list, you will find the number of articles I have written in that year and by clicking on the year, you will find the number of articles I have written in different months of that year.
And by clicking on the month, you can see the titles of all the articles I have written in that month. You can then choose whichever article you wish to read and click on it.
Here are snapshots of all my 1300-blog posts!:
