When cruel coexistence grows by the day, a division is a must.

Saddest and longest story of oppression, villainy and torture has come to an end.
Moral: When cruel coexistence grows by the day, a division is a must.

Patthar Ka Gosht! – Another authentic super special dish of Hyderabad.

Patthar Ka Gosht means Mutton/Lamb (Gosht) slow cooked on Stone (Patthar). You can see this process in the above pictures. It is a spicy Hyderabadi delight served with chutney and onions and can be had exclusively or with Roti. It is a sure and great way to pamper your taste buds.
It is a dish that originated during the reign of Asaf Jah VI Mir Mahboob Ali Khan Siddiqi (17th August 1866-29th August 1911), the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad State. It is said that when Mahboob Ali Pasha (Pasha = Lord) was 18 years old, he went on a Tiger hunting expedition to a jungle adjoining Hyderabad. As was the practice; his wardrobe, bed, dining table and provisions to cook royal foods were carried on elephant backs along with the hunting entourage of soldiers and cooks. And there in the forest; one evening the Nizam desired to have Kababs but as skewers were not packed for the trip and the cooks had to somehow obey and please the Nizam, they picked a flat granite slab and cooked the mutton on it, explained the situation to the Nizam and served the preparation. The Nizam liked the dish very much and back in the palace he insisted on its preparation often. Since then, which means since 130 years this form of cooking mutton on a flat stone slab became very popular in Hyderabad State and came to be known as Patthar Ka Gosht.
And from 1954 Bade Miyan Kababs/Bademiyan Kababs Eatery on Tank Bund – close to Lower Tank Bund/Kavadiguda junction and 2.5 Kms from our house has been serving Patthar Ka Gosht along with a variety of Kababs and later began serving Chaat and Chinese food too. We have a number of restaurants serving Kababs around our house, two of them - Paradise and Zam Zam being within 500 mtrs! And perhaps countless in entire Twin Cities of Secunderabad and Hyderabad but very few of them serve Patthar Ka Gosht.
I prefer having unlimited kababs! for starters at the buffets at restaurants like Sigree, Barbeque Nation, The Great Kabab Factory and 36 Chatthees. And for Patthar Ka Gosht it is always Bade Miyan Kababs at Tank Bund and at their NUMAISH Restaurant.

Fed up with this futile array…an assembly of many ‘Nutty Nuts’:

Fed up with this futile array…an assembly of many ‘Nutty Nuts’ – defective, deceitful and dangerous with equally harmful props.
Perhaps another two days or few more days and this trash will be cleared forever and ever.
